INS Vikraditya on Fire: Nobody injured

Mumbai: A minor fire occurred on INS Vikramaditya. The fire was controlled and all personnel on the board are safe.
The staff on duty saw smoke emanating from the part of warship from the accommodation of sailors.
The prompt action of the personnel on duty for controlling fire. No major damage has been reported.
An inquiry has been ordered.
INS Vikramaditya is considered floating airfield and has overall 284 meters & a maximum beam of 60 meters.
Standing about 20 storeys tall from the keel to the highest point, the ship has a total of 22 decks and carries around 1,600 personnel.
